Bai Xiang Ting Restaurant RM0.99 HK Style Charcoal Roasted Chicken Rice

Nowadays, what can we buy with 99 cents? Not even a piece of fried banana.

Bai Xiang Ting was having a 99 cents chicken rice grand opening promotions for 3 days, so we went to check it out.

Even before the shop opens, there are many people queuing up waiting to go in to the restaurant for the 99 cents lunch. There were a few who ordered two to three plates just to enjoy their lunch.

HK Style Charcoal Roasted Chicken with Rice RM0.99 (Normal Price RM5.50)

This chicken rice tasted superb. The aroma of the charcoal roasted chicken is one of the best I’ve ever had. It is comparable to the ones we had in KL. It is worth every single cent I spent on. Even if it’s RM 5.50, it is worth a try.

Environment: 8/10
A very new restaurant. Nicely renovated with wooden tables and chairs. It gives the feeling of the Hong Kong style coffee shop.

Food Presentation: 6/10
For the 99 cents promo, the presentation is rather simple. Photos shown in menu are much better.

Portion: 7/10
Portion of rice is average, similar to other chicken rice shop.

Taste: 9/10

Very tasty. The charcoal roasted chicken taste penetrate deep into the bones of the chicken. Yummy!

Service: 6/10
Waiters were very busy on the first 3 days of opening.

Value for money: 10/10
This promotion is totally value for money. Did not regret dining there.

A new choice to go for lunch for FTZ Penang employers and employees.

Miraku Hotate

Pan fried scallop with butter, pepper, soyu, sake and Mirin.

Chūhai, the Japanese cocktail which is offered in Miraku allows you to choose from two types of Shochu which is the Mugi(wheat sochu)-150ml or Imo(potato sochu)-300ml. For mixers, there are tonic, carbonated drinks or fruit juice. It can also be served with oolong tea.

Food Promotions pick of the day would be Hotate Chuka Chinmi, the cold appetizer which is very appetizing once you start eating and Hotate Kushi Yaki which is full of Hotate original flavor.

They both then invested their savings for this boat, the Blue Whale Cruise in hopes to share their passion and love about Penang island to the tourists and locals.
Blue Whale cruise gives you a special experience, a personal cruise around Penang. It was six in the evening when we started our journey from the Marina Bay, next to QEII.
This 47-foot Chris Craft Boat, powered by 2 Diesel engines is fully air-conditioned, with bed-room, kitchen, galley, toilet and a completely equipped galley will give you a marvelous experience.
This spacious capacity can fit 10-16 pax (max) and is suitable for the private functions and parties. Hosting a small private wedding ceremony here would be a perfect.

The nostalgic memories of the place we grew up. Our proud landmark, the Penang Bridge which is 13.6 km long. Our ship cruised under the bridge and the navigator will sound the horn just before reaching it to alert the surrounding people that we are passing by.

From Marina Bay, Georgetown, we traveled all the way south to Jerejak Island and back. The path of the sail usually depends on the weather of the day.
